Puerto Rico

On the south-west of the lovely island “Gran Canaria” lies Puerto Rico, which means ‘the rich port’. A combination of the island’s latitude and the nearby African west coast guarantees a  pleasant climate. The sandy beaches form the perfect place for a ‘siesta’ and close to the beach, many restaurants serve delicious Spanish dishes. Furthermore, Puerto Rico has two small harbours Puerto Base en Puerto Escala, filled with beautiful yachts. Finally, the volcanic origin of the island is clearly visible and create breath-taking views on the ocean.
